 Our CEO & Chief Operations Officer are former School Safety & Security Professionals with more than 50 years of law enforcement and school safety and security experience. These two uniquely qualified veterans (pre-Katrina) provided the leadership and guidance to the OPSB Department of Security & Investigations, a unit comprised of 228 Special Officers responsible for the safety of 64,000 K-12 students, 7500 teachers, administrators, and visitors. Providing security for the largest Public-School System in Louisiana (128 schools sites) was an extremely challenging task. 

However, due to their dedication, competence, hard work and no-nonsense approach coupled with networking with other school districts, implementation of strategic initiatives, officer re-assignments, and re-districting, their leadership efforts proved extremely successful. 

In only a few short months they were able to assess the department strengths and weaknesses, assign the proper manpower and supervision to quell issues at troubled schools, decrease officer absenteeism, decrease response times to incidents and calls for service, restructured the detail assignment guidelines making it fairer and more equitable for all officers, and re-aligned the school districts sectors making each District Captain more accountable for the officers and schools in their districts. 

The changes implemented within the department were so noticeably effective, that they drew praise from the School Board Members, the late Dr. Anthony Amato, Superintendent of Orleans Parish Public Schools, and prompted one senior high school Principal to question, what were they putting into the water? 

According to our CEO, when it comes to providing School Safety and Security at any level, "Service, Pride, and Integrity coupled with Transparency and Accountability are paramount, and are the hallmarks to the success of any Department or Organization."
